Sponge fish

They are baits that imitate smaller specimens of fish that predators feed on. They are made of sponge with larger granules, stitched with 2 or 3 single hooks or treble hooks and all of this is connected to a lead head that gives it weight and balance.

Weight: 30, 32, 34, 37, 45, 50g

Since they are larger in size, they are intended for large predators, both river and sea.

Presentation: What applies to the gobio also applies to all other sponge baits, with the fact that sponge fish achieve the best results in the early morning and dusk and at elevated river water levels, while there are no rules for lakes. Every angler should develop his own technique, and this is achieved by frequent trips to the water and monitoring the behavior of predators in different periods of the year, e.g. (in the winter period, you should search deeper parts of the river or lake because that is where the concentration of natural food for predators is the highest) other periods of the year, shallower parts of rivers, although every rule has exceptions.
